Group Link

GroupLink is a two-hour event where you will connect with others and form a community group. Community groups are small groups of 8-10 people that meet weekly in someone's home for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. Our last  GroupLink in September was a resounding success where about 150 people were connected into groups in Barrie and Orillia. We are  equally excited for our next GroupLink coming up in January. We want everyone to have the opportunity to get connected into a community group.

We're excited to be hosting GroupLink at these dates and locations:

Barrie:

Sunday January 24th at the Georgian Banquet Facility 52 Morrow Road from 7:00 - 9:00 pm

Orillia:

Sunday January 31st at the Mariposa Best Western at 400 Memorial Avenue from 7:00-9:00pm

When and where are the GroupLinks?

GroupLinks are held several times each year. Here are the dates and location for our Next GroupLinks:

Barrie | Sunday January 24th  at the Georgian Banquet Facility on Morrow Drive

Orillia | Sunday January 31st at the Mariposa Best Western on Memorial Avenue

What happens at GroupLink?

The room is divided into sections according to areas of town where the groups will be meeting. Based on your location preference, go to that section. Heavy appetizers, dessert, and coffee will be served while you meet others with whom you could potentially be in a group.

After meeting with the other people in your area of town, we will form groups. With your new community group, you will watch a short video and spend some time getting to know each other.

What is an Assimilator?

Assimilators are volunteers who help people connect into groups by providing information about GroupLink events. They are also at the GroupLink events to assist people as they form groups.

If you would like to take the next step toward joining a community group, please be at the next Group Link event.
